The gallery of Records The visitor discovering the room can wonder one moment what can deserve such a flattering name. The discovery of the exposed tables is enough to inform it: the majority represent outstanding scenes of the life of the castle. That was the idea of Napoleon III when ihe made build the part, with the site of a staircase and a hall, in order to connect the Gallery of Plates which makes his continuation, to the wing Louis XV. Its project was not entirely carried out, but among the tables exposed today, several answer its idea :
- Henri IV relevant Sully, by Millin of Perreux, 1819. The scene
took place about 1600. The minister, wrongfully accused of treason, is reassured by the king, before the Court
massed along the pond of Carps
